Kevin Feige Says That There Still Won’t Be Any Marvel TV Crossovers In The MCU

With Marvel's slew of Netflix superhero series forming its own strong television universe, fans have been hoping that Marvel Studios would finally allow a few crossovers between Marvel TV and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However it seems like fans may have to wait longer, because Marvel Studios still doesn't have any plans of having Marvel TV heroes popping up on the big screen.

In a Facebook Live interview with Allocine earlier this week, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was asked what the studio has planned in regards to crossovers, and this was his response:

"Maybe someday. No plans right now. Maybe someday, but we have a lot of charcters in the MCU, and one of the things that is so special about those characters on the Netflix shows is their dynamic together. They are all combining to the Defenders later this year and are doing their own thing."

Though it might seem pretty easy having Mike Colter's Luke Cage or Danny Rand's Iron Fist pop up somewhere in an Avengers film for a short cameo, it seems like Marvel Studios is having trouble giving in to fan's requests because of issues between the studio and Marvel TV. Apparently the Marvel Comics Creative Committee had once interfered with the MCU direction, and that's forced Feige to remove the committee from involvement with the MCU. Guess we can't always get what we want.
