Kevin Feige Says Black Panther Is The Best Film Marvel’s Ever Made

The Marvel Cinematic Universe might have quite a number of strong films, however, according to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, Black Panther's the best Marvel film to date.

Feige recently sat for an interview along with Black Panther director Ryan Coogler and stars Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong'o, and Danai Gurira to talk about the impact of the movie with ABC News. There's been so much excitement over the film. The film makes such a strong mark on the comicbook genre not just because it's T'Challa's first standalone film, but also because it's Marvel's first predominantly black superhero movie.

"The movie finished and I looked over at Ryan and I said, ‘That's the best movie we've ever made," Feige said during the interview.

A lot of fans feel the same way. Not only is the film tracking for a $225 million four-day weekend, but it's also earned the highest rating for a superhero movie on Rotten Tomatoes. Though there are a few who don't really seem to agree that Black Panther's the best that Marvel's got right now, the general consensus is that the film's upping the superhero game for the MCU and for other superhero franchise.

Black Panther is currently screening in cinemas.
