Keanu Reeves Revealed in New Trailer for Cyberpunk 2077

Mark your calendars — Cyberpunk 2077, the open-world, action-adventure story from CD PROJEKT RED, is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC April 16th, 2020.

2019 is looking to be the year of Keanu. After the success of John Wick 3 and an appearance in Toy Story 4, CD Projekt Red has just revealed that Keanu Reeves is also a part of their highly anticipated game, Cyberpunk 2077.

Unlike Witcher III which is based on a series of books, Cyberpunk gives the player a character V, who is a mercenary in this urban sci-fi world. You can adjust V according to your preferences, making him a man or a woman, plus you can also mess with V's backstory on why they're in Night City.

Players can also pick through three classes in the game Solo, Techie, and Netrunner. Solos are your hand-to-hand combatants, whole the Techies like to focus on gadgets and machinery. When it comes to Netrunners, they're into hacking computers, robots, and even people. You can either put all your effort into one class, or make a good balance of all three.

Going back to Reeves' role though, nothing much was revealed in the trailer, but he's definitely going to be one of the major draws of Cyberpunk 2077 now. With games like Death Stranding and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order making use of celebrity appearances, it's cool that CD Projekt Red was able to book Reeves for this gig.

Cyberpunk 2077 becoms available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on April 16, 2020.
