Justice League Teaser Hypes Saturday Trailer

There's not much talk about Justice League in recent days—and it's not because the hype has died down. If anything, it's because we've been waiting for trailers to drop on our laps, with the wait becoming even more in vain.

Finally, even if it's just 14 seconds of your life, you get teased with at least two new scenes both of which featuring the King of Atlantis, Aquaman.

The teaser lives up to its name: no dialogue, no spoiler-y goodness even for the upcoming trailer, and some of the scenes have already been released before. Still, we see more of Aquaman this time around.

While the scene where he's engulfed by the waves is not really new, we see his interaction with Batman who tosses him his trident. I wonder how they were able to get past that little council scene where he teases Arthur Curry with his ability to "talk to fish." Aquaman is also dressed and ready to be part of the league with his cool costume in tow.

But the biggest part is the effects we see of him wielding his power over the seas. One simple bang of his trident is able to counter the seas in an almost Moses-parts-the-Red-Sea fashion. The scene where all five Justice League mainstays sans Superman are lined up and ready to leave their ship is cut short with the announcement:

"Exclusive trailer debut this Saturday."

Given that the teaser was just posted on YouTube, it's safe to assume that the two-day countdown at the start and the "Saturday" mentioned points to a trailer release this weekend.

Who's excited? Besides me, that is.

Justice League will be out in theaters on Nov. 16.
