Justice League Isn’t “What It Could Have Been” Says Zack Snyder’s Son

There might have been a lot of hope for Justice League after the DC Extended Universe tasted its first victory with Patty Jenkin's Wonder Woman, but the superhero movie hasn't been doing as well as hoped for, underperforming at the US box office during its opening weekend.

Some say that Justice League's lackluster reception in the US is mainly because of its poor reviews, with critics blasting the stark differences between the visions of directors Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon. Sure the film is majorly Zack's project, but after the death of his daughter forced him to take a step back from Justice League, Warner Bros. decided to bring in the Avengers filmmaker to re-write the script and work on the reshoots of the movie.

Now, Zack Snyder's son Jett has decided to share his thoughts on Justice League, posting on Vero (via Comicbook) to air out his frustrations with the superhero team-up film.

"On a more serious note I did enjoy the movie, although it is clearly not what it could have been due to the meddling by Warner Brothers and the forced comedy," he wrote. "The run time was my biggest gripe with the movie, with events that should take a long time over in a flash: but still definitely a fun movie to watch, and would recommend it."

While a lot of audiences say they enjoy the upbeat lightheartedness of the movie, others feel like Whedon's reshoots interfere with Justice League.

Justice League is currently screening in cinemas.
