Justice League Isn’t Light, According To Henry Cavill

There's been a lot of talk about Justice League and how it has more humor compared to other DCEU films, with some even saying it's a much lighter movie. One person who would disagree with that statement is Man of Steel actor Henry Cavill, who stated that calling the film light is an injustice. While he admitted that the film would have more light moments and jokes, it looks like it won't be anything like Thor: Ragnarok, which isn't a bad thing.

During an interview with Chris Van Vliet, he stated that the movie would be a serious one with a few moments of humor peppered out. Cavill also stated that the humor was more akin to soldiers in the military, who use jokes to help each other get through tough situations. If true, it would be fitting since the previous movies were dark and it wouldn't make sense to suddenly make things more Joss Whedon-like.

It's been interesting seeing Henry Cavill be more blunt about the Justice League movie. The actor had previously acknowledged the flaws that plagued previous DCEU films, so it's good seeing him be honest. Superman is known for not lying about anything - except his identity - so it seems like Cavill is doing the character justice.

Justice League hits theaters this month, on November 17. Cavill will reprise his role as Superman, even though he died in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
