In the official announcement of the bonus features for the upcoming Blu-ray/DVD release of the animated film Batman: The Killing Joke, we saw that it will include an "exclusive sneak peek at the next DC Universe Original Movie." The title wasn't revealed, but we might now know the identity of the film.
The British Board of Film Classification revealed that The Killing Joke release will include "A Sneak Peak at Justice League Dark."
Justice League Dark is a DC Comics title that sees a team of the company's supernatural heroes like John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna, Spectre, Etrigan the Demon and Jason Blood.
Guillermo del Toro was once attached to direct a live-action adaptation of Justice League Dark, which Warner Bros. has been developing the project for years.
The Killing Joke will be released from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Blu-Ray and DVD on August 2, and on Digital HD beginning July 26.
