After several teasers shared earlier this week, Universal Pictures has finally unleashed the first full trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. There are a lot more dinosaurs running in this sequel to 2015's Jurassic World. Though it appears that the trailer revealed too much about a major stampede sequence from the film, it brings some questions that probably won't be answered until we see the film. Why did the T-Rex save Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and company? Where are the dinosaurs heading to? How will they rescue them? And at what cost?
Though details about the film's plot have been scarce, director J.A. Bayona has teased what the film will look like. The director has tweeted stills from the film, including a look at an unknown character looking at the bones of a huge dinosaur hanging in from the ceiling.
Producer Colin Trevorrow previously revealed that there's an insane action sequence that happens in the middle of Fallen Kingdom, and he describes the sequel as being a "deeper, more character-based" film and that "it definitely leans into suspense."
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is directed by J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls), and it also stars Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing, BD Wong‘s Dr. Henry Wu, Jeff Goldblum as Ian Malcolm, James Cromwell is as Benjamin Lockwood, Justice Smith and Toby Jones.
Ex-military man Owen Grady encounters terrifying new breeds of gigantic dinosaurs.
Jurassic World:Fallen Kingdom is set to release in theaters on June 22, 2018.
