Joss Whedon Will Not Be In San Diego Comic-Con 2017

Joss Whedon is probably one of the biggest names in pop-culture today, and everyone was expecting him to have some announcements or teasers in the upcoming nerd-Mecca that is the San Diego Comic-Con. Sadly, Whedon is currently too busy with Justice League reshoots, so he'll be missing the Con this year.

According to a report from An Englishman in San Diego, Whedon said:

"I won't be there. Only the second time in twenty years I won't make it."

That being said, Justice League is still expected to be a huge presence in SDCC this year, and a lot of fans can expect something in Hall H. Rumors have suggested that there will be another Justice League trailer drop, and it will finally give us our first look at Superman.

We also know that former director Zack Snyder has left JL for personal reasons, but he has been showing up to promote other DC movies. Snyder had appeared at CinemaCon and he also attended the Chinese premiere of Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman. There's a huge chance that he'll be at Hall H this summer.

Personally I would have preferred to get more info on Batgirl from Joss Whedon rather than Justice League. I'm hyped enough for JL as it is.

SDCC 2017 will run from July 20–23 and Justice League comes out Nov. 17.
