Ever since before we started getting official looks at Josh Brolin's Cable, we've been teased on just how much Brolin had been preparing for the role. Ryan Reynolds shares another image of Brolin on Twitter, and this time he's hanging out with a tiny Deadpool.
Reynolds' caption is absolutely hilarious:
At first I thought the picture was of a young fan who dressed up as Deadpool and showed up on set, but now I'm thinking that Lil' Shakeweight could actually be part of the movie. I don't know just how exactly, but with Deadpool's crazy imagination, I can guess that he'll be part of some silly dream sequence. Then again, I could have been right guessing it was just a fan dressed up.
Deadpool 2 will be introducing new mutants Cable and Domino for the first time onscreen. With Cable's origin being pretty complicated in the comics, the movie version is said to have a simplified backstory that will make sense cinematically. What's important is that they bring justice to the character. It's not everyday you get to see a fan-favorite comic character come to life onscreen.
Besides Cable and Domino, we'll also be having returning characters Weasel, Blind Al, and Deadpool's love interest Vanessa. Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead from the X-Men will also be making a return.
Deadpool 2 comes out June 1, 2018.
