Jon Favreau's Rio Speaks in Solo: A Star Wars Story TV Spot

There are a lot of big names in the cast of Solo: A Star Wars Story including Emilia Clarke and Woody Harrelson, but a small role voicing an alien named Rio belongs to Iron Man director Jon Favreau. A new TV Spot has come out for Solo and has a small clip of Rio actually talking.

When I first heard that Favreau was going to be in the film, I thought that his character's dialogue was going to be warped—or maybe he would be speaking in an alien language. For now, at least we have confirmation that Rio actually converses like a human—rare for an alien in the Star Wars universe.

As for Rio's role on the film, it looks like he'll be part of the crew that Woody Harrelson is bringing together for his train heist. Besides Han, Chewie, Lando, and Qi'Ra, we also have Val (Thandie Newton) and Lando's assistant droid L3-37 (Phoebe Waller-Bridge).

Early reactions to Solo have been overwhelmingly positive, and though some people online still want to complain about Alden Ehrenreich not being a clone of Harrison Ford, there's no doubt that they're still going to catch the movie on opening day.

Solo: A Star Wars Story comes out May 25.
