John Boyega Teases “Dark Turn” For Everyone In The Last Jedi

Star Wars: The Last Jedi sure doesn't seem like a stroll in the park for Daisy Ridley's orphaned Force User Rey. From the altered font color to the ominous words of Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker at the end of The Last Jedi teaser, it seems like the film screams out a whole lot of peril for the Rebellion.

However, while speaking with BBC Radio 4 (via Express) about his new role in a stage play, The Last Jedi star John Boyega teases how the film will weigh down on all of its different characters

"All the characters are challenged and taken to real extreme levels. I get goosebumps when I talk about it, because I'm like, ‘I know, you don't! It's epic… It's a dark turn for all of us."

Aside from that, the Star Wars actor also discussed the different Last Jedi cameos of musician Gary Barlow and then Princes William and Harry.

"I have no comment, but he does look good in a Star Wars suit," he gave a sly comment on Barlow. "No comment on that, but they look good too."

Boyega's comments on the challenges that the characters will have to face in The Last Jedi may not come as a surprise to fans given the way the film is being marketed, it sure does add to the hype of The Force Awakens sequel.

Featuring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Peter Mayhew, Andy Serkis, Anthony Daniels, Lupita Nyong'o Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Benicio Del Toro, Kelly Marie Tran, and Laura Dern, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is scheduled to debut in cinemas on December 15, 2017.
