Star Wars: The Force Awakens didn't just successfully revive the Star Wars franchise, it also brought with it a host of new faces, introducing new characters for the Star Wars fangirls and fanboys to ship. While some have been hoping to see Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega) together after their little banter in the first installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, others are hoping that the Finn will get together with Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaacs).
Attending a media junket for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Boyega was asked by Comic Book about who he wanted to see Finn end up with If he had been given the choice.
"None of them. None of them," Boyega replied. "I think he should stay single for now, he hasn't figured himself out. He'd ruin them if he got into a relationship, so, I think he should just stay cool, man. Stay cool."
That's a pretty diplomatic response – it'd be terrible if Boyega really picked a side. Not only a definite answer add fuel to all the speculation going on about the sequel trilogy's possible ships, it would also break the hearts of other shippers. Best to stay neutral on this one.
