Though there's been a lot of controversy surrounding The Batman after Ben Affleck decided to resign from his post as director to focus on being the Caped Crusader, the show's still in place for production, especially now that Warner Bros. has Matt Reeves to take the lead as its helmsman.
Though word on The Batman has been scarce these days, Deathstroke actor Joe Manganiello offered up an update on the film yesterday and now the actor's back to share with fans his training regimen for the mercenary role that he's playing in the movie.
Speaking in another interview with Chef Robert Irvine, Manganiello has revealed that he's just begun training for the film and that he's going to be ready working with katanas:
"I've started. My trainer and I have started putting together some workouts that are specific to the character and how I want the character to move. It's an incredibly athletic role so all of the training is very functional. I've also started Kung fu and chi gung training, and I've also started working with katanas."
With so much controversy fogging The Batman, it's definitely good to see Manganiello taking time to get ready for the film because not only does it mean that the True Blood star is serious about playing Batman's Baddie, but it also means that the film is slowly gearing up for production.
