J.K. Rowling Shares Cool Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Wand Designs


Each day brings us closer to the opening of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. To give fans a bit of a teaser, J.K. Rowling shared a sketch photo of Harry Potter's wand as an adult, as well as those of his Hogwarts classmates.

They also reveal what their new wands are made of.

The author captioned the tweet:

Exciting morning at rehearsals for #CursedChild. What do you think of our wand designs? #HarryPotterPlay.

Rehearsals are ongoing for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

I must say the wand designs look pretty awesome. I wonder what their finished products look like. Hopefully, Rowling shares them with fans as well.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will see the adventures of Harry, together with his son, James Sirius, Albus Severus, 19 years following the events of the Deathly Hallows. The play, which is known to be the eighth story in the Harry Potter series, will open at London's Palace Theatre on July 30.

For fans who can't apparate, the script of Harry Potter and the Cursed ChildParts I & II will be released will be available in book form on July 31, right during Harry's birthday.

If the book and the play becomes a success, we could see this play turning into another movie franchise. It looks like another grand adventure for Harry. I can't wait to read the book.

Meanwhile, the Harry Potter spinoff, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, will be released in theaters on November 18.
