Though Marvel comics meant Luke Cage and Jessica Jones for each other, the relationship between Marvel studio's Netflix version of characters played by Mike Colter and Krysten Ritter didn't end in an entirely positive note at the end of the first season of Jessica Jones.
After leaving Jessica behind in the wake of Kilgrave's battle, the Power Man went on to find a new love interest in Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple in Netflix's Luke Cage. However, in a new series of set photos from The Defenders, fans get to see Luke and Jessica getting along again.
In a few of the latest photos released from the set of the Marvel's upcoming Netflix superhero cross-over, fans finally get to see the canon couple reunite on a random street in The Defenders. Check it out down here:
Despite the way their relationship ended in Jessica Jones with Jessica shooting a gun beneath Luke's head, the two seem to be having a pretty good time chatting each other up by the curb, that is, until some sort of thug comes in the way. Will Luke and Jessica finally get together? We'll have to wait and see in The Defenders.
The Defenders airs on Netflix sometime in September this year.
