Jeremy Renner Shares New Avengers 4 Set Photo

Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye has been one of the biggest talking points regarding Avengers: Infinity War and the unnamed Avengers 4. It seems like something big is planned for the character, with recent set photos essentially confirming that the character will be using his popular Ronin alias from the New Avengers comics. Renner has posted a new photo on Instagram and though it doesn't reveal anything new, the actor's continued presence in both films might mean that he will have a bigger role this time.

Fans hoping to see more of the Ronin outfit, or maybe even a new Hawkeye suit, are going to be very disappointed. The actor blocks most of his costume with a jacket, though he is wearing eye masks, indicating that Renner is gearing up for the shoot. Renner is one of the actors who will be appearing in both films, so fans can only hope his version of Clint Barton finally gets some much-deserved attention.

With a costume change more than likely for the character, fans have begun speculating on what leads to this transformation. One popular theory is the death of his family at the hands of the Black Order. When the character's family was killed in the Ultimate Universe, it made him colder and more detached from his teammates, hence why fans think this will also happen in Infinity War.

Avengers: Infinity War is slated for a May 4, 2018, release. The unnamed Avengers 4 comes out on May 3, 2019.
