Jeff Goldblum Finally Gets a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

It seems that only recently, veteran actors are getting recognized in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Just last March Mark Hamill got his own star, and now veteran actor Jeff Goldblum has gotten his as well.

This was shared by Goldblum on his Instagram:

With more than a hundred movie credits to his name, it feels like it's about time that Goldblum finally got the recognition he deserved. It kind of helps that he's recently starred in two huge blockbusters, Thor: Ragnarok, and the upcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Not to mention Goldblum in now a regular with indie darling Wes Anderson.

The fun thing about Goldblum is not only his career onscreen, but his attitude off camera as well. He's just so delightfully quirky that you can't help but love him. It's almost a miracle that he manages to stay as serious as he does whenever he plays a role.

No doubt, fans of Dr. Ian Malcolm are celebrating the recognition that Goldblum is getting now. Then again, you don't really need a star to signify that you've made it in Hollywood. Just ask the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. They're two of the biggest actors on Hollywood, and they don't have stars at all.

Catch Goldblum as Ian Malcom in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom on June 22.
