Apart from the initial backlash the Minecraft Movie faced from fans, a new interview from one of the cast members claims that Aquaman star Jason Momoa had been "mistreating" the movie's crew on set during filming.
Minecraft Star Claims Co-Star Jason Momoa was "Pretty Disappointing" on Set
45-year-old actor Jason Momoa has appeared to be under fire since his last appearance on the big screens as Aquaman in the DC Universe.
However, Rachell Marie Hofstetter, better known as 'Valkyrae', recently appeared in a YouTube video with FaZe Clan and mentioned the "working conditions" she had to go through with co-star Jason Momoa on the Minecraft Movie.
"I just saw him mistreat some of the crew," Valkyrae shared, "And it was pretty disappointing. It was after a very intense scene, and it was a very emotional scene, so maybe he was still in character, I don't know. But I was just surprised by how he treated some of the crew."
"He was just really mad at them for not doing something right — it was like setting up the shot and stuff," the streamer added, "And he was just angry. Like really mad, and yelling. And so I was like, 'Man, this is not a good work environment.' I would not be happy working under these conditions."
Apart from unveiling Momoa's alleged behavior on set, Valkyrae also revealed that she has a cameo ready in the Minecraft Movie ahead of the film's release.
Though she has yet to confirm if she's playing a character on the big screen or simply giving a cameo, she merely says, "Minecraft Movie, I have a cameo."
Meanwhile, Jason Momoa has yet to address or draw out comments in response to the alleged display he set on the Minecraft Movie's set, we will be sure to give updates on this story as soon as something comes up.

For now, fans can expect the adventures of the Minecraft Movie to be released in theaters on April 4, 2025, where Ender Dragon's path of destruction brings a young girl and her group out to save the Overworld from chaos.
