James Gunn Teases Post-Credits Scene of Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2

Director James Gunn confirms that there will be a post credit scene in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

"All I'll say is, unless you have to rush out because your mother is dying, stay through the entire end credits," Gunn wrote on Twitter.

The post credit scenes could connect to Thor: Ragnarok, Spider-Man: Homecoming and/or Avengers: Infinity War. It doesn't seem that Spidey would fit into the cosmic side of the Marvel Universe, but with members of the Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers coming together to fight Thanos in Infinity War, we can say that the chance of seeing the web-slinger interact with Peter Quill, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Drax, or Groot isn't so thin.

The film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn. New cast members include Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
