Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 stars have been enjoying teasing fans about the film for the past couple of weeks. Late last month, Zoe Saldana (Gamora) shared some behind-the-scenes photos. Last week, Chris Pratt (Star Lord) also shared a behind-the-scenes video of him piloting a ship.
However, nobody has appeared more pleased teasing Marvel fans than director James Gunn himself. The 45-year-old filmmaker has taken a liking to updating fans about Guardians 2 via Facebook in recent weeks. Last month, he shared this mysterious sketch, and last week, he shared a deleted scene from the previous Guardians film.
This week, Gunn has shared another cryptic sketch on his Facebook page as part of the "What We Shot Wednesday" posts of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The sketch was captioned: "Looking forward to more absolutely insane guesses (no, that was not a giant banana last week). Also - this is not two images, but one I erased and replaced with another."
Take a look at his latest photo, which isn't the easiest to make out:
Another Wednesday, another storyboard for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Looking forward to more absolutely insane...
The most obvious part about this image is how the figure appears to be wearing headphones, which would imply that it's Pratt's Star Lord. There's no saying what scene of Peter Quill (if it even is him) this sketch is of, but if I'd take a guess it has something to do with Quill listening to his mixtape contemplating about something – perhaps guessing who his father is?
What do you think?
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters on May 5, 2017.
