James Gunn and Chris Pratt Share Emotional Posts After Kurt Russell Wraps Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Filming

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 filming has wrapped once and for all for veteran actor Kurt Russell, and it seems that the cast and crew of the Marvel film has gotten quite emotional with it. This particularly involves director James Gunn and lead actor Chris Pratt.

We still have no idea about who Russell will be playing in the movie, but everybody's betting on him being Star-Lord's father.

That said, Gunn and Pratt's emotions seem to give proof to this speculation, as the two said they were moved after working with an actor of such talent. In fact, the two just shared on social media how they shed tears after their time with the 65-year-old star.

Take a look at Pratt and Gunn's tweets bursting with emotion:

It's not uncommon for a movie's cast and crew to form special bonds during production. We've seen this in the cast of several films, including stars of TheLord of the Rings who even had similar tattoos after the franchise wrapped back in 2003.

In the case of Pratt and Gunn's recent posts, I have a feeling it's not just because of Russell's sheer acting talent that got them moved. It's highly likely that there's some scene in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 between Pratt and Russell's characters that involved some deep emotions. Whether Russell is Star-Lord's dad or not, it's still pretty interesting to see the cast and crew getting this involved in the movie.

I can't wait to see this film!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters on May 5, 2017.
