Jaime Lannister Star Wants To Apologize To Bran In Game Of Thrones Final Season

Warning: This article contains spoilers for the season finale of the seventh season of Game of Thrones.

Those who've already seen the last episode of Game of Thrones know that despite the control of his sister, Cersei (Lena Headey), Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldaue) decided to leave Kings Landing and fight beside the King in the North (Kit Harrington) and the Dragon Queen (Emilia Clarke) in the Great War against the Night King.

Now, as fans get ready to huddle up and wait for the final season of HBO's massive fantasy epic, Coster-Waldau talks about his hopes for Jaime in Game of Throne eighth season.

Speaking with Indiewire, the Danish actor said that not only is he excited to see The Kingslayer fight the undead, he's also hopes to meet and apologize to Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright), the young child he pushed out of the window to keep his incestuous relationship with Cersei a secret way back during the first episode of the series.

"Obviously I'd want to be involved in this battle somehow. Jaime will be well-prepared since he's one of the few who wields a Valyrian steel blade. He's got the right sword for the fight. He has a Valyrian steel sword, which is very effective. I think now he knows that he has one, Brienne of Tarth has one, Jon Snow has one, and Samwell Tarly has one. And of course Arya has a Valyrian steel dagger. I think it'll be great to use that and fight some of those disgusting beings[…]

My hope is that I'd like him to meet Bran and I'd like him to apologize to Bran Stark because that wasn't a nice thing he did in Episode 1 [shoving him out the tower window]… And obviously I hope there's some kind of scene again with Jaime and Cersei because that is the main relationship. I hope that they get to have one face-to-face before we end the show, but who knows."

Jaime really is on a path to redemption, but while it's certain that Jaime will come face to face with the white walkers in Game of Thrones Season 8, it's still to be seen whether the Young Lion will have time to meet up with Bran in Winterfell, especially with the Night King heading down south.

Game of Thrones eighth season premieres sometime in either 2018 or 2019.
