J.A. Bayona Shares Some of the Music for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Micahel Giacchino has just confirmed that he's started working on the score for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but now director J.A. Bayona has given us a taste of what kind of music we can expect from the sequel.

Check it out:

Giacchino does such a great job of adapting John Williams style when it comes to composing music. Fallen Kingdom will be his third attempt at following up to Williams after his work on the first Jurassic World as well as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Listening to the theme, die-hard fans can notice the transition from the new JW theme to Williams' original motifs from Jurassic Park. I swear for one second, I thought I was going to hear the Force theme from Star Wars as well.

Though a lot of people argue that Jurassic World wasn't the best movie, the film still came out as one of the most profitable movies of 2015. Let's just hope that new director J.A. Bayona learned from Trevorrow's mistakes and will bring a good mix of adventure and fun when it comes to Fallen Kingdom.

Four years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park, Owen Grady and Claire Dearing return to the island of Isla Nublar to save the remaining dinosaurs from a volcano that's about to erupt. They soon encounter terrifying new breeds of gigantic dinos while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the entire planet.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hits theaters June 22.
