'It' New Trailer Focuses on the Losers’ Club

Stephen King isn't hailed as the King of Horror for nothing. Even though the newest trailer for the re-adaptation of It offers fewer scenes that that take viewers on the scary side of town, it isn't lacking in the mean surprises and that last parting look at Pennywise the creepy clown.

Seen below, the trailer is focused on the kids of the Losers' Club. It has that ‘80s vibe in the same vein and appeal as Stranger Things. Boys hanging around doing their detective club or whatever hobby they're into.

Sadly, the character of Finn Wolfhard and his gang is focused on going inside the sewers. As if the first trailer hasn't given them a hint yet of what happens in them. Especially when there's a red balloon involved.

The Losers' Club boys themselves are pretty funny, so that's something scaredy cats like me can look forward to. But even this trailer doesn't let us forget that beneath Andy Muschietti's take on the classic horror novel lurks the scary clown that jumpstarted everyone's fear.

At the end of the trailer, we're treated to another look at Pennywise in all his scary-ass made-up glory. It's hard to look at a red balloon and feel very safe ever again.

It will be out in theaters on Sept. 8.

Synopsis:
