Is this Batman’s Ultimate Weapon in Dawn of Justice?

The big question in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is who will win. The query has been part of DC's marketing for quite some time. While people already have an idea of who's going to triumph, another important question is "how" the victor will succeed.

The film will probably have its fair share of PG-13 action with Batman and Superman kicking each other's butts. However, apart from Bruce Wayne's plotting prowess and strength, a new theory is suggesting that Alfred is Batman's secret weapon.

When Jeremy Irons spoke with Empire magazine, he explained:

I knew we would be finding a different angle on Alfred, so I thought of him as my own. Alfred has lived longer than Bruce, and so perhaps has a clearer perspective on life. As well as having been in loco parentis to Bruce, his only remit in life is to protect him. And, as those of us who have raised children, let alone Batmen, will know that is quite a wide remit.

The real takeaway in the interview:

He's a man who can actually do anything if he has to.

Let that sink in for a moment. Done? Okay.

Alfred may not have Kryptonite on hand to help Bruce defeat Superman, but because of his passion to protect Bruce and his "special ops" background, he could have access to powerful weapons to kill off Superman.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released on March 25.
