Is Mr. Robot Telltale Games’ Project After Batman?

Mr. Robot may be the next hot topic in line for storyteller-developer Telltale Games.

A new teaser from the Twitter account @ecorpmessaging and retweeted by developer Telltale Games has appeared hinting at a mobile app to "make your life better."

Fans of Mr. Robot know that E Corp is a multinational conglomerate that creates electronic devices. For protagonist E Corp, it's also very much known as the Evil Corp.

The series of tweets, seen below, has a very sinister and disquieting teaser effect for the app.

"All of your contacts, all of your moments. One app, one world. Make your life better w/@ecorpmessaging."

While that's basically what a lot of companies are trying to do with smart technology—Xbox/Microsoft's one Xbox One device, Samsung's smart tech—there's just that sinister aura when you know it's always called the Evil Corp. Then again, maybe we're just being paranoid.

Considering that it's Telltale Games who may be handling the new app project, I'm guessing we're stepping into another narrative landmine—explosive, but because of E-Corp, also disconcerting.

Telltale Games has recently just released its newest title, Batman: The Telltale Series. So far, reviews for the game have been good, and the use of Crowdplay first launched for this game. Since all succeeding games from Telltale will have this multiplayer approach, maybe the E Corp messaging project will feature it as well?

The E-Corp messaging project will arrive on iOS and Android on Aug. 17. Let's see what this will bring in a week.
