Though the release of Star Wars Battlefront II was a PR nightmare for EA, a lot of fans still bought the game, and the developers still have a lot of updates planned to release. Though we know that Finn and Captain Phasma are being planned for a release this December, there have now been some official hints that General Grievous could be coming to Battlefront II.

Star Wars HQ on Youtube has been keeping tabs on the game, and has pointed out that one of the developers from DICE has revealed this teaser on Twitter:

What's more, some data miners have found a rough outline of General Grievous in the Battlefront II files. Check it out:

So far, we have no idea when Grievous will be coming out, but surely DICE and EA have planned regular seasons to take place in the games. Maybe Grievous can come out with rival Obi-Wan Kenobi? I can imagine they'd want to have a special event take place before Solo: A Star Wars Story comes out next year.

For now, that's all we have on General Grievous, but hopefully DICE will release some more information as the season draws near. We've been getting some teases for the Crait DLC coming this December, but we have yet to have a full look at the expansion.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
