Iron Man 3 Star Addresses Harley Keener Possibly Becoming New Avengers Member After Endgame

There were several awesome surprises in Avengers: Endgame, from Thor's new look to Captain America wielding Mjolnir. However, some surprises were also heartwarming as fans realized that a teenaged Harley Keener actually attended Tony Stark's funeral. But is it possible we will be seeing more of Harley in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Ty Simpkins has just addressed the possibility of his Iron Man 3 character joining the New Avengers.

People probably still think of Harley Keener as the smart kid who helped Tony Stark fix the Mark 42 armor in Iron Man 3. Although the character has not shown up again after the 2013 MCU flick, it appears that Tony has been keeping in touch with Harley as the boy showed up at Tony's funeral in Endgame. So is there a future for Harley in the MCU?

Simpkins recently spoke to Huffington Post about his brief yet emotional Endgame cameo. Interestingly, the Jurassic World star was asked if it's possible that his character could be a part of the New Avengers and Simpkins was certainly interested in the idea.

"I mean, I'd love that. I have no idea if it would happen, but I love that," he said.

There have been speculations that Harley could eventually take on the Iron Lad persona considering his knack for fixing things. Could he become the next Iron Man? We'll have to wait for an official announcement for Marvel.

For now, it looks like Simpkins doesn't have any new projects in the future. However, that could change pretty soon. Keep checking this page for more updates.
