Injustice 2: Hellboy Is Now Available

Injustice 2 fans have plenty of reasons to keep playing the hit fighting game. Not only are there Justice League events that will reward players with gear based on the costumes seen in the movie, but players that bought the Ultimate Edition can now download Hellboy. The BPRD agent is the final fighter of Fighter Pack 2, with Fighter Pack 3 now known and soon to follow.

Hellboy is one of the more unique looking fighters in the game, looking more like a Mike Mignola drawing than a photo-realistic version of the character. This surprised fans since all of the other characters looked realistic, but it does make him one of the more visually interesting fighters of the entire game. Until the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were announced, Hellboy was the most surprising guest character to join the fighting game.

Fans will be happy to know that the character's move-set matches what we've seen in the comics and movies thus far. Aside from using the Right Hand of Doom, he also has some grapple moves that make him useful for rush-down combos. He does have a gun for long-range attacks, but they're not as cheap as someone like Deadshot.

Players that bought the Ultimate Edition of Injustice 2 can download the character now. Those that haven't upgraded will have to purchase the character for $5.99.
