Injustice 2: Cyborg's Justice League Gear Now Available

Not long after Flash's gear was released, NetherRealm Studios has announced that Cyborg's Justice League will now be attainable in Injustice 2. Like the gear for the Scarlet Speedster, fans will have to earn Cyborg's big screen dreads by playing through a Multiverse Event. The gear itself looks pretty good, though Cyborg's lack of hair in the game removes some comparison to actor Ray Fisher.

Players have to participate in five arcade mode-style ladders before they take on a boss character in Brainiac, who is a fairly weak level 20 character. Granted, players may not want to get hit by him since he does a ton of damage, but it's easy enough to block most of his moves and rushing him with attacks. Cyborg has a number of long-range attacks and traps, so players will want to use these to their advantage.

Like The Flash before him, Cyborg's gear can mimic the movie's style better if players have the Nth Metal Shader. These cost 5,000 Source Crystals, so players will have to do a lot of grinding or simply use real money to get the in-game currency. Sadly, this has been the case with all of the game's shaders, including the ones that turn fighters into new characters like Bizarro for Superman and Vixen for Cheetah.

Injustice 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and now PC. The events for Flash, Wonder Woman and Cyborg's Justice League gear will be around for 90-plus hours. Justice League will hit theaters on November 17.
