Hugh Jackman Has A Say On Who'll Be The Next Wolverine

Logan is currently in theaters, and it's famously known for being Hugh Jackman's last outing as Wolverine. Despite Jackman's departure, the X-Men franchise trudges along, and fans are curious as to who Fox has in mind for taking Jackman's place as the face of the X-Men. Well, apparently, they're not casting anyone new without Jackman's say-so.

In an interview with Deadline, producer Simon Kinberg says, "We haven't even thought of the next iteration of Wolverine. For all of us, we were keeping our fingers crossed that the audiences would respond to Logan the way they have. I can't visualize in my head another Wolverine but if that day ever comes, we would talk to Hugh about it."

With Jackman playing Wolverine for 17 years, it might be tough for audiences to adjust to a whole new Wolverine, but seeing as Tom Holland was gracefully accepted as the new Spider-Man by the fandom, a new actor in the role may not be so bad after all.

Personally, I would just love Marvel to take over everything so we can finally have one coherent Marvel Universe. Is that too much to ask?
