One of the most anticipated Star Wars content on Disney Plus is on its way into the streaming platform and much to the excitement of the fans of the galaxy far, far away, The Book of Boba Fett nears its release before the year ends, adding more to the ever-expanding story of the franchise. How many episodes will there be for the new show and when will they be out?

How Many Episodes Will The Book of Boba Fett Have?

The much-awaited spin-off series of The Mandalorian will be out before the year ends and The Book of Boba Fett will be having seven episodes as confirmed in their official Twitter page. It is no surprise that it will have fewer episodes than the previous shows of Star Wars released on Disney Plus because it has been tagged as a limited event ever since its announcement.

The announcement of the seven-episode original series comes with epic character posters of Boba Fett and Fennec Shand and it includes details as to when the series will commence. In the same post, the release date of the pilot episode of The Book of Boba Fett is mentioned and it will be just before the year ends, on December 29, 2021.

The Book of Boba Fett will feature the adventures of Boba Fett and Fennec Shand as they try to make a name for themselves in the notorious underworld of the galaxy as they take over a place that was once part of the control of Jabba the Hut.

Temuera Morrison will be taking on the role of Boba Fett, the son of Jango Fett and a known bounty hunter and he would be joined by Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, a well-known elite mercenary and assassin. Produced by John Bartnicki and co-produced by John Hampian; Kathleen Kennedy, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriquez, and Colin Wilson will be the executive producers of the show while Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck are co-executive producers.

The Book of Boba Fett will be out on Disney Plus on December 29, 2021.
