Here’s Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Idea for a Possible Game of Thrones Spin-off

Spin-offs are a great way to explore side stories of characters. But if it's for possibly one of the biggest shows to date, you know we're all ears.

It just so happens that one of the mainstays, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau who plays Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones, is giving his two cents' on how to add some give more time to the series.

His idea is to keep doing spin-offs of the HBO Original Series for the rest of his and the other cast members' careers. Speaking with the New York Times, Coster-Waldau gave a green light to one great idea: "Heartslayer."

And for Jaime and Brienne shippers out there, Coster-Waldau is open to a sitcom with that title. He even has it all planned out, down to what Varys's role is going to be.

Joking aside though, Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have already confirmed that there will be two more seasons left in the show, though they won't last as long as the previous ones, Deadline reported.

"It's two more seasons we're talking about. From pretty close to the beginning, we talked about doing this in 70 to 75 hours, and that's what we'll end up with."

According to Benioff, the point is to create a story that has a beginning, middle, and end. Considering that the actual book has yet to be finished, it's good that the creators still have an end game in mind.

As appealing as a Heartslayer spin-off concept is, I really wouldn't mind a serious spin-off fleshing out other story lines. Seems like everyone in Game of Thrones is becoming a powerhouse character, it's getting harder to decide who to kill off—yes even Cersei. What are your thoughts on possible spin-offs for Game of Thrones?
