DCEU fans entered a massive outrage when it was reported that Henry Cavill was exiting the Superman role, but now Cavill's manager Dany Garcia has released a tweet urging fans to calm down and wait for an official statement from WB.

Garcia posts:

It was said that Cavill had left the role due to talks with the studio breaking down, but so far, nothing has been officially confirmed. It also doesn't help that Cavill had committed to starring in Netflix's The Witcher series just recently, leaving others to believe that his Superman role was in trouble.

As a fan of Cavill's Superman, I hope that he stays onboard. Sure every DCEU movie he's been in has been considered divisive, but a lot of people agree that Cavill plays the role really well. It's just the matter of writing him better—and none of that is Cavill's fault.

For now, we should just wait for the official statement of WB on how they plan to move forward with Cavill. While they're at it, they should also give us a solid update on what they're going to do with Ben Affleck's Batman.

No official announcement has been made of Cavill's Superman exit.
