Hawkeye Gets His Own Fan-Made Character Posters For Avengers: Infinity War

Marvel might have forgotten to include Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) in its most recent character poster drop this week, but that doesn't mean that fans have forgotten the sharpshooter.

Fans have created their own character posters for Clint Barton online, one showing the Avengers member as Hawkeye and the other showing the sharpshooter as Ronin.

The first version created by a fan named Tom shows Hawkeye in a backdrop similar to the same purple coloring of the official character posters released by Marvel today.

The second version by popular graphic artist BossLogic shows Clint as Ronin. Though the poster's background doesn't have the official poster's purple coloring, the yellow tint highlights the characters yellow fight garb found in comics and seen in set photos.

Though some might be worrying that Hawkeye's consistent absence in Infinity War's marketing might mean the character's death in the film, The Russo brothers have both promised fans that Clint is simply taking his own journey in the film.

"Hawkeye coming out of Civil War is in the same position that the Cap and Falcon are in at the end of that movie," director Joe Russo told the press in a previous interview. "And Ant-Man. And coming into this movie, the characters who are on Cap's side are coming out of Civil War, some made certain decisions and others made other decisions that led to different paths and them dealing with oversight in this movie in a different way. So, Hawkeye's on his own journey in this movie."

Hopefully we'll get to see a bit of this journey in the film.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27.
