Hawkeye Actor Jeremy Renner Won't Be In Mission Impossible 6; Henry Cavill His Replacement?

Jeremy Renner has been a solid addition to Ethan Hunt's team ever since he debuted as an agent in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. However, it looks like Renner's time with MI6 will be cut short. It's been confirmed that he won't be appearing in Mission Impossible 6.

According to Showbiz 411, Renner won't be able to return due to scheduling conflicts with Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4. With the two movies shooting back-to-back, it might be hard for Renner to keep hopping from one location to another.

Oddly enough, when Renner was introduced in Ghost Protocol, the intention was to have him replace Tom Cruise should he ever choose to resign from the franchise. Though he may not be appearing in M:I6, it's still possible for Renner to come back in future movies — depending on how busy he is.

With the Jeremy Renner-sized hole in the next movie, I'm guessing that Henry Cavill will be playing a character which will fill in for Renner's. He's been confirmed for work in the next movie, and if you've seen Man from UNCLE, you'll know that he can pull off a sleek and cool super spy. Then again, he could be the villain.

Mission Impossible 6 is directed by Christopher McQuarrie and stars Tom Cruise as Agent Ethan Hunt. The movie is set to come out on July 27.
