[THIS ARTICLE POSSIBLY CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR ANT-MAN AND THE WASP]
Though Marvel Studios is currently working on the promotion of Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, we're still getting bits and pieces of the upcoming Ant-Man sequel. A new set photo has come up of Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer's characters, and you can't help but think that this photo has spoiled the fate of Janet Van Dyne.

With both the characters appearing as old as they are in the shot, we could only confirm that at some point in the movie, Janet Van Dyne is recovered from the Quantum Realm and reunited with Hank Pym. Of course, it's possible that my guess is a fluke, but it would be nice to see old Hank Pym finding some redemption for himself.
It's also possible that maybe it's just another flashback and they still have to de-age the actors with CGI in post-prod. My guess is just as good as yours.
What I'm curious about is, if Janet Van Dyne can be recovered, then what did she go through when she entered the QR? Was she in a coma the whole time? How has she not died of hunger after all these years? Hopefully Marvel has an answer to all of it.
