'Harry Potter' Prequel 'Fantastic Beasts' Serpentine Title Revealed

Check out the first official look of something from the Harry Potter prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them?

Entertainment Weekly revealed the official promotional image showing the film's title with a serpentine, steely, toothy design.

Next year, Warner Bros. will release the first of the mysterious Harry Potter prequel films that centers on the in-book author of JK. Rowling's 2001 encyclopedia cataloging magical creatures from around the wizarding world year.

The Harry Potter franchise is known for having these iconic title designs across seven novels and eight films. The title was designed to look similar to the Harry Potter titles but with a more cryptic feel, with a serpent's tail replacing the lightning bolt. Here's an image for comparison's sake.

Fantastic Beasts stars Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) as "magizoologist" Newt Scamander and is set in New York in 1926.

The film is being directed by

director David Yates, with a screenplay from J.K. Rowling, and it's scheduled to be released on November 2016 in 3D and IMAX.
