Harley Quinn Spin-Off Film Co-Produced by Margot Robbie is Moving Forward, Warner Bros. Confirms

The Harley Quinn spin-off film that was reported back in May is moving forward.

While no other details about the movie have been revealed, it marks the further expansion of the DC Extended Universe (which already has a bunch of films in its lineup, including Wonder Woman, Justice League, Cyborg, The Flash, Green Lantern, Shazam, and a Batman solo film).

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Margot Robbie will star and executive produce the Harley Quinn movie which will feature other DC heroines.


The Aussie actress has also signed a first-look deal with Warner Bros. to develop and produce feature films through her LuckyChap Entertainment production company.

The Harley Quinn film is currently untitled and has a yet to be announced release date.

The 26-year-old actress has recently been campaigning for a Harley/Joker spin-off film, telling fans "I'm trying to make it happen."
