Han Solo: Ron Howard Gives First Look At Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian

No one is more secretive about their movies than Lucasfilm, but for some odd reason, they're letting new director Ron Howard share pictures from the set regularly. Howard's latest shared photo gives us a look at Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian.

In the picture we have Lando standing in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, and he's seen wearing a yellow jacket. First I thought it would be the same costume from Lando's appearance on Star Wars Rebels, but it looks to be entirely different.

The movie is said to contain the scene where Lando loses the Falcon to Han Solo in a game of Sabacc, and I'm very curious on just how involved Lando will be in Han Solo: A Star Wars Story. Seeing as how Rogue One entirely changed how I watched the first Star Wars, I'm expecting this movie to give me a new outlook on Lando when I see him again on Empire Strikes Back.

Howard seems to be having his fun on set, but I'm curious if this is just a ploy from Lucasfilm to show that the movie is not in trouble. Things were awfully quiet when Lord and Miller were behind the camera. Let's hope Howard is doing just fine as the new helmer of the film.

Han Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to comes out May 25, 2018.
