Han Solo Movie: 3 Actresses Testing For Female Lead

Disney and Lucasfilm's Han Solo spinoff will reportedly begin in January, and it looks like directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord already started narrowing down the search for the film's female lead.

Variety reports that Power Rangers actress Naomi Scott, Creed star Tessa Thompson, and Zoe Kravitz are among those who are testing for the role this week in London.

According to the report, the final decision for role could be a couple weeks away. Alden Ehrenreich will play the young Han Solo, but Lord and Miller will still have to cast the actor who will play the young Lando Calrissian. It was reported that Donald Glover is in talks for the role, but the studio wants to have another round of tests before making the final decision.

The untitled Han Solo movie is scheduled to release in theaters on May 25, 2018.
