Haikyuu!! Season 3 New Clip Teases Shiratorizawa Players Character Designs

The second season of Haikyuu!! saw our favorite volleyball players from Karasuno High facing off and getting their sweet revenge against Aobajosai High and the Great King Tooru Oikawa.

However, there was also a big hint that the next season will be all about the fight between the Miyagi Prefecture number one ace Wakatoshi Ushijima. This time, the official Twitter of the Haikyuu!! anime has released a new teaser clip introducing the members of the Shiratorizawa Academy volleyball team, seen below.

Previously, an official art was also released, so basically this is the video version. In the background, we hear Ushijima’s seiiyuu Ryota Takeuchi saying that they are the number one and the best team.

While we know who will really win here—don’t all sports anime end the same way?—I’m very excited to see the face-off. Shouyou Hinata, Tobio Kageyama, and the rest of the Crows have grown a lot over the two seasons, and we’ll see these talents play out in great animation, as always.

That’s thanks in part to the returning staff who handled the previous seasons. We’ll be seeing Susumu Mitsunaka as director with assistant director Mario Ishikawa. The rest of the seiyuus will be reprising their roles as well.

What’s more, we’ve already learned earlier that NICO TOUCHES THE WALLS and Burnout Syndromes will be coming back to perform the theme songs for the new season.

The only bad news is that, instead of the usual 24-episode run, Haikyuu!! anime season 3 will only see 10 episodes, Crunchy Roll reported.

Haikyuu!! season 3 will premiere this October.
