Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Star Will Poulter on Playing Cal Kestis in Live-Action Jedi: Fallen Order Project

Star Wars continues to be one of the most successful franchises right now and any actor would jump at the chance of being in one of its major projects. So it's no surprise that Will Poulter is eager to be a part of the Star Wars Universe. The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 star has just addressed the possibility of playing the live-action version of Cal Kestis from the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order!

Cal Kestis is the main character in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order which is set five years after the events of Revenge of the Sith. The game follows the Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis as he is hunted by the Second Sister and the Ninth Sister who were both trained by Darth Vader as part of the Imperial Inquisitors program.

But will Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order get a live-action adaptation? Although this hasn't been announced, fans have pointed out how Will Poulter has similarities with the main character and would be perfect for the role of Cal Kestis. Not surprisingly, the Maze Runner actor likes the idea of being part of the possible project.

“I definitely would not say no. I mean I was a huge Star Wars fan as a kid. I can remember wearing like a brown bathrobe and getting a lightsaber (made out of a neon-painted cardboard wrapping paper tube),” Poulter said.

Although we love the idea of Will Poulter being in the Star Wars Universe, there's already one actor we would love to see as the live-action Cal Kestis. After all, Cameron Monaghan already provides the character's voice in the video game and he can easily portray the Padawan once again.

For now, there are no plans for a live-action project based on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
