Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is probably one of the most highly anticipated comic book movies for the year, and more and more marketing is getting released as the release date draws nearer. A new TV spot has been leaked following the Kids Choice Awards, and it features a lot of new footage of Drax, Star-Lord, Nebula, and Gamora.

It's nice to see that the jokes are still landing with the movie, but it's possible that some of the clips we're seeing in the trailers won't make it to the final cut of the film. Director James Gunn had admitted that the scene in the teaser where Drax is eating loudly around a campfire won't be in the final cut.

There's also a new song revealed in the spot called "Come a Little Bit Closer" by Jay & The Americans. Seeing that the first movie's original soundtrack was such a hit — and was closely linked to the trailers — fans may just have found another entry to Awesome Mix Vol. 2 along with Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" and David Bowie's "Suffragette City."

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,' Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters May 5.
