Guardians of the Galaxy Star Vin Diesel Shares How Hulk vs. Groot Fight Might Go Down

Now that Marvel fans all know that Mark Ruffalo's angry green guy Hulk is going to have a smashdown with Vin Diesel's Groot care of the Guardians of the Galaxy star, the only question left remaining is how exactly are the two going to start the fight? Is Groot going to try and initiate "I am Groot" small talk only to be misinterpreted and bashed by Hulk, or is it going to start the other way around?

Now as he prepares for the release of his latest film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, Vin Diesel gives fans an idea on how exactly the two Marvel giants are going to start the big fight in a new interview with MTV.

"I'm really interested to see what happens when him and the Hulk are in the same room [laughs]," the Guardians of the Galaxy star revealed. "I want to see someone get out of line and let Groot take over. I can imagine that Hulk could say something, or Rocket Raccoon could say something wise, like a smart-ass, to the Hulk, and Hulk gets all ruffled and angry, and then all of a sudden, Groot steps up and says 'What's up?' [laughter]."

Of course, the fight may very well start in another manner, but given Hulk's hot temper and Groot's lack of communication skills, the two could very well get into a pretty rough misunderstanding in Avengers: Infinity War, the Marvel film where the two will most likely meet. Let's wait and see how it turns out.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 lands in theaters on May 5 this year while Avengers: Infinity War comes up on the big screen on May 4, 2018.
