We've already seen the origin stories of Drax, Star-Lord, Rocket, and Groot in the recently-released Guardians of the Galaxy animated shorts. The latest animated short focuses on the origin story of Gamora, the adopted daughter of Thanos. With Nebula and Korath, she starts off going on a mission for Ronan, and as you can see in the short, they're a competitive bunch who ends up fighting each other. The animation looks pretty slick, kind of reminds me of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
These short films lead to the Guardians of the Galaxy animated series set to premiere on Saturday, September 26 at 9:30PM Eastern time on Disney XD. Watch the 2-part short below:
