GTA 6 Leaked Map Teases South America Setting, But Is It Real?

The hype for GTA 6 is ramping up even though Rockstar Games hasn't announced an official release date yet or revealed any gameplay details, and that means more rumors and leaked information about the highly-anticipated game.

Now, a map for GTA 6 has supposedly leaked online. If you recall, the Red Dead Redemption 2 map leaked online long before the release of the game. At the time, everyone believed the leak was fake, but it turned out to be real. Now, a GTA 6 map has supposedly leaked online, and many think it's fake, but given the context of Rockstar's other game, some people are not disposing the possibility that this leak could be real.

The origins of the leak are stil unclear, but Boco, a supposed Rockstar Games insider, shared a look at the map on Twitter, and has since denounced it as fake, but if it's real, it looks like GTA 6 will be set in South America - at least partially - which previous rumors claimed.

According to previous rumors, GTA 6 will have a much bigger setting and length to complete the game's main story. It's said to take players to different cities like Liberty City (Rockstar's fictionalized version of New York), Vice City (Miami), and a Rio de Janeiro-inspired city. Some rumors also claim that GTA 6 will partially be set in Europe, but none of these claims have been officially confirmed by Rockstar Games.
