While Rockstar Games is still developing GTA 6, more rumors about the highly-anticipated sandbox action-adventure game are spreading online, and fans are trying to find the latest information they can get, even though many of the leaks are not credible. Now, a new GTA 6 rumor is going viral for potentially leaking the first story and gameplay details of the upcoming GTA game from Rockstar Games.
According to the new rumor shared by XFire, the game is expected to be officially titled Grand Theft Auto VI, and it will have two protagonists, a brother and sister (twins) who get split apart following the murder of their parents by the cartel in 2003. Just like GTA 5, GTA 6 will reportedly have a prologue, and the death scenes will be at the center of this prologue, which takes place in South America, "could be set in Brazil."
Just like what previous rumors claim, the main game is said to be set in a variety of locations, including Colombia, Cuba, Vice City (Miami), and Carcer City (Rockstar's fictional take on an extreme caricature of a Rust Belt City), which is not far from Liberty City (New York).
The new rumor also claims that GTA 6 will be released in 2024. However, a previous rumor we reported last month suggests that we might have to wait a little longer.
The rumor also mentioned ambitious technology and destructible buildings, but note that Rockstar Games hasn't officially confirmed any of these details, so take them with a grain of salt.
