Green Lantern Corps Member With Justice League Cameo Named

Rumors have been going around lately that a Green Lantern Corps member is going to land in the DC Expanded Universe's Justice League, and while reports have the character largely unnamed, it seems like the Green Lantern character's been pegged down.

While recent reports indicate that a Green Lanter Corps member with a "funny sounding name" would be making his or her way to this year's Justice League, Geek Feed narrows down the possible cameo candidates down to one specific Green Lantern guy, and that's (spoiler alert, it's not too late to turn back now) the alien Abin Sur.

Apparently the website was approached by a source who had visited the set of Justice League six months prior and they were informed that in the concept art for the film, a Green Lantern Corps member had appeared. The member wasn't human and while the publication would have loved to run the story, they had little information to verify the claim. After Umberto Gonzalez made his big reveal however, the publication decided to come clean and spill the beans.

While not as popular as Hal Jordan, Abin Sur is relatively well known to fans. Though the report should still be taken with a grain of salt, it would still be pretty interesting to find the Green Lantern member find his way into Justice League.

Justice League hits theaters on November 17 this year.
